We are in need of qualified and experienced professionals to fill the vacant positions of Specialist Welding and Specialist Machining in our Plant Maintenance department.

Specialist Machining Provide specialist service to ensure the safe and efficient operation, quality control and maintenance of a well-equipped refinery machine shop with a wide range of machines, supporting all Bapco Refinery, Marketing and related facilities.

The range of machines include lathes, grinders, milling, drilling, jig boring, horizontal boring, slotting, engraving, balancing and broaching machines plus vertical and floor borers, overhead cranes etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or
equivalent discipline.
• 12 years experience in a
refinery or similar heavy process industry, of which
at least five years should have been in a supervisory
capacity.
• Experience in trouble shooting machine tool and overhead crane problems.
• Specialized knowledge of in-situ machining, special metalizing processes and use of balancing machines.

• B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical or Welding related discipline.
• 10 years welding related experience in a refinery or other related process industry with a major process plant
manufacturer, of which at least five years in a senior
level of specialist/ consultant nature.
• Detailed practical knowledge and experience of machinery and welding practices and procedures.

- Reporting to and as directed the Coordinator Sales & Marketing, the incumbent has prime responsibility to develop sales of lubricant products in the local consumer market.

Regularly visit dealers and customers, reporting to
the Senior Coordinator Lubricants. Responsible to:
prepare and implement marketing plans; define
individual sales responsibilities, territories and
targets; prepare monthly sales and financial reports;
direct Distributor Supervisor on export sales; direct
the Local sales team and review progress and targets;
plan sales promotion activities, etc. The ideal
candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in Business
Studies from a recognized university, and has minimum
of 7 years' experience gained working for a major
international oil company with knowledge in the
automotive and industrial lubricant sales.
