The ideal candidate has to report to the Project and Engineering management with regard to design, engineering progress and performance, highlight concerns and make recommendations and seek
guidance for resolution.

Responsibilities:

Direct the planners to develop their engineering schedule in an EPIC environment and report progress.

Provide technical guidance to the team and liaise with Engineering Discipline Managers for resolution of technical issues when required.

Review critical project design deliverables and philosophies to ensure compliance with specifications and functional integrity.

Monitor design productivity and performance, investigate
discrepancies as well as implement measures to adhere to the budget.

Provide recommendations to the Engineering discipline managers and initiate measures to improve and modify project work procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelors' degree in engineering from a recognized University.

Minimum 20 years of experience in design and engineering in the GCC, preferably with an engineering consultancy or an EPIC contractor, but not mandatory. A good blend of green field and brown field engineering experience would be advantageous.

Should have 5 years in offshore facilities engineering of which 2 years must be as a project engineering manager directing and guiding design and engineering activities.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, Ras Gas, Shell, QP, XOM, TOTAL, ADMA standards will be advantageous.

Must have lead a multi discipline design and engineering design team of at least 50 personnel.
