This is food for thought. For the CARE4COPD study this is indeed important. It seems that (although trend is downwards) exacerbationfrequency is higher for subjects seen in the center. This might of course be related to the kind of patients that are referred, but is important if we take the registry as a comparator.

Fresh extract for the COPD center - relation to region and the country  from the Swedish Airway registry - Percentage of patients with 2 or more exacerbations in the last year. 2014 were small numbers - but the trend the last couple of years is encouraging…. :-))

Hej

Inför en presentation för lungläkarna imorgon så har jag gått igenom data i luftvägsregistret och fick då fram bifogade siffror för öppenvården (LMOT sen KOL-centrum) vad gäller andel patienter med 2 eller fler exacerbationer.  var ju få registreringar och säkert sjukare patienter men ändå glädjande!
